
The following message was sent to FCPS emails on 6.3.26 and personal email addresses on 6.5.26. DTI has stated that a bulk email from Survey Monkey will not be blocked, and we should be good to send ballots to FCPS emails, as we have more FCPS emails than personal emails.
Good morning, FASSE members.
I am pleased to announce that we have reached a tentative agreement with the FCPS Board of Education.
As the Chief Negotiator, I would like to thank your FASSE Bargaining Team for their work throughout the year with this year’s full contract negotiations. Thank you to Karren Sowell, Kristin Airey, Shelly Tribett, Randy Kelly, Alejandra Sanchez, Lois Strickland and all the members on the Negotiations Committee for all their time and efforts. They stayed late, reviewed many documents, had many debates with the FCPS Board’s team, and fiercely advocated for you, your salaries, working conditions, and your benefits. I would also like to thank everyone who signed and submitted a post card for our campaign for a living wage and the ESP Bill of Rights. Member action to support bargaining efforts is an important factor in reaching our goals.
On this page you will find the salary enhancement overview, salary scales, language items, updated Health Insurance info, and instructions to access People Soft (if you don’t know your grade/step). More information on being “Self-Insured” and the Health Insurance can be found on the FCPS website.
We will have ratification meetings on the following dates and times. Please do your best to read the material and to attend a meeting, so that you can make an informed vote and ask any questions you may have at the meeting.
Our office (for the in-person/hybrid meetings) is located at 57 TJ Drive. We are on the second floor, entrance in the front.
